Been a while since I last updated. The fucking Incubus gig got rescheduled, having already watied 4 months I now have to wait another 4. Oh well, at least it wasn't cancelled I suppose. Haven't really been upto much, just being lazy. I've got SO MUCH coursework to do over easter I just keep putting it off. Bloody hell. I have like 5000 words worth to be done by the 22nd and another 5000 words worth of coursework to be done by the 30th. I haven't even read some of the books for some of the essays. I'm such a lazybum.

Hi. Should be getting my new laptop in the next few days so I'll be able to use the net at my student house when I go back. Home for Christmas at the moment, it's been pretty good so far. University is going pretty well overall, having fun. Had some great nights out. Will update this thing properly soon when I'm back at uni. Just checking in. Gonna post some Incubus icons in a bit. Helloo. It has been so long since I looked at livejournal properly and did a proper post. So just over a month ago I moved to a student house thingy, everything is going pretty well. It really has felt like so much longer. I'm doing a degree and all that jazz! had a few funny drunken nights, one involved falling asleep on my friend clares bathroom floor and having weird halucinations. Another involved playing the spoons, I can't be bothered to go into it. My housemates are ok, don't have much in common with them but we all get on rather well. My course has on the whole been really interesting and I've read some kickarse books, it feels as though my mind is beginning to expand, or some carp like that. Right now I'm at home, we have broadband here now, yay. Just here for the night I'm meeting Mike (boyfriend) tomorrow for his 20th birthday. I have to meet his mum, scary. I hope I don't make too big a tit of myself. Well that's about all for now can't be bothered to go into too much detail. Hope everyone on my friends list is doing ok.

Hi. Haven't updated in ages. Moved to a student house over three weeks ago. It feels like so muuch longer. Really enjoying it so far. I will do a more detailed post soon as I can. Just letting you know I'm still alive :¬)

Now not moving until Saturday, which is good, more time to get organised. Really exited now (and a little nervous) just want to find out who I'm going to be living with for the next year and meet the people on my course and have a good time. I'm going to be really nervous on the way there I just know it. Oh my God can't believe I'm finally going to uni. I can't believe I was actually seriously considering not going, this year would have been so shit if I wasn't. It could still be shit but at least there is a chance it won't be. Anyway can't be bothered to type any more. Just another boring post. Bye.

Got a place sorted for uni. No longer going to have to travel 2hrs there then 2hrs back. This means I'm right near the campus. This means I can join sports teams. Also means I shall be able to get pissed easily and have a kick arse time. YAY :¬)

I managed to sort it out all on my own. It's pretty basic but I'm ot bothered. I'm going to be sharing with 4 other students, we won't meet each other until we move in. Should be moving within the next week. A little nervous but overall really exited. Groovy.

Also me and Mike have decided to try and keep our relationship going even though I'll be at Glamorgan and he will be in Portsmouth. It will be tough but it's worth a shot. At least we can say we tried. Things are going quite well indeed. For now at least.

OK so maybe I was being a little melodramatic in my last post, but things were kinda of getting on top of me and I was so stressed about results and stuff. So anyway turns out I didn't fuck up. I got the grades I needed to get into university. In my English modules this year I got two B's, unfortunately I still got a C overall because of my grades the previous year but oh well. Also got a B in art which consisted of two B's for my coursework and an A for my exam piece, which I thought I'd done the worst in because I didn't do much prep work. I got a C in history, but that did include an A for the coursework I did on the Czech crisis! I did that at the last minute, I was so frantic. Totally fucked up psychology but I knew that anyway. So yeah I know I said I wanted to do art but over the past few weeks I've been giving it much thought and I came to the conclusion a few days ago that if I got into Uni I'd go for it. It helps that I got two B's in my last English exams, that helped to boost my confidence and made me think maybe I am capable of doing an English Literature degree. I've been so up and down over the past two days. On the way to college to get my results I really thought I was going to be sick. The sheer sense of releif when I saw I hadn't completley cocked my exams up was so damn good. But then later in the day I started getting panicky that I hadn't done enough to get into Uni after FINALLY deciding that was what I wanted. I went out last night, had a great time. I've spoken to people from my college more since it ended then the two years I was there. There was a guy from my history class at the Meze called Andrew and a friend of his, me and Mike got chatting to them, it was fun. Andrew had been there a while and was getting more and more pissed. I was drinking vodka and coke but then Andrew decided we needed tequila shots. Him and his mate left after a few hours, by that time there were quite a few people from the college there. I got talking to Mike (who is other Mikes friend) we were getting on really well. I started sobering up a bit so I suggested we get some more tequila and then some more and them some more. I got hammered, I haven't been that drunk before (which isn't an achievement I know) I just hope I didn't make too much of a tit of myself. I remember singing along to system of a down and doing actions and stuff. It was a good night though.

So yeah now I feel so relieved because I got a letter today confirming that I'd gotten into Glamorgan and I feel so much more content and certain of what I want to do. I'm really looking forward to meeting new people and joining clubs and sports teams and getting stuck in.
